Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading Season

Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading for 2009 has officially started--Rob spent his time in the hospital for this season (we pray).   We have 4 Kindergarten-1st grade mixed teams, 4 2nd-3rd grade boys teams, 2 4th-6th grade boys teams, and 2 5th-8th grade girls teams.  We could still use more 5th-8th grade girls.  Practices are on Thursday nights this year and the concession stand will be open for practices.  If you are interested in refereeing games on Saturdays, please let Rob know.  Games start on Saturday, August 15, 2009.  We are skipping the week of Bluffton Street Fair this year, so all kids and adults can enjoy the fair.   Please look for team cards in the gathering space for our prayer ministry and please be in prayer for these kids and their coaches.
