NEW PRAISE OPPORTUNITY

The long awaited choir chimes are here!  ZUM has purchased a three-octave set of choir chimes and is up and ringing!  We have had two practices with a three octave choir of 11 ringers.  Joe W. is directing us through the measures and encouraging us every step of the way.  Diversity of age and experience is our strength as we are continuing to learn from each other.

     I am amazed at the determination and the obvious will to succeed.  To see the intensity of each ringers gaze while looking for their notes in the music is very inspiring to someone who has been ringing for many years.  I knew having a ministry of music like this would bring out those with a musical desire to praise God in a not so conventional way.  

     Thanks to everyone who has worked to make the chime choir a reality. After attending ZUM only a few months I knew this was a place chimes would thrive.  ZUM found another new way to provide a ministry of praise and fellowship for its members and God.  

     Look for the chimes first public appearances during worship services on October 28th.
