Even though we have accepted Christ as our savior and belong to a church family, sometimes we need extra love and support to get us through rough times.  The ZUM Outreach and Care team provides that additional adult Christian support.  Their ministry encourages and nurtures current members and regular attendees, new memberships, and various missions. 

The team currently leads funeral dinners, initiates contact with regular attendees who have not been attending services, and arranges nurses for blood pressure checks each Sunday.  Missionary opportunities are funneled through them and trips are organized for anyone to participate. 

     ZUM hospitality and assimilation services are also provided to new members.  Newcomers receive welcome mailings and visitations by team members.  Care packages are disbursed with M&M’s candies.  Even though the candy is sweet, the meaning behind it is even sweeter.  The M&M stands for Meet and Mingle and Ministry and Missions, summing up the team’s goals.
