The Adult Ministries function “is to help people to accept and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to live their daily lives in light of their relationship with God,” The Book of Discipline, (¶202).  The team is to address the care and concerns of the adult members and the community so they may grow in their Christian understanding of themselves in order to improve their quality of life.

    The ZUM Adult Ministries team provides leadership for adult Sunday school teachers and small groups.  They help plan the Wednesday Night Live adult class offerings and work on special projects like the Tim Elmore visit last year and his planned return this year.  The Men’s ministry group also brings in speakers on topics of interest for Christian men.  Like the youth and children’s ministries, this team is challenged with teaching the gospel and in receiving adults just as they are.  Ages include young adults, middle-aged adults, older adults, married adults, and single adults.
