Our Vision:

The Zanesville United Methodist Church does what it takes to reach our communities for Christ.

• We exalt God through worship relevant to our times.
• We encourage Christians to stretch to a higher level in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• We mentor our children and youth through Biblical teaching and as an example of Christ
• We provide Biblical preaching and teaching that has an application to "Real Life" issues.
• We foster opportunities for fellowship and the building of relationships for support and encouragement.

2012 Vision:

Following is the 2012 vision of the Zanesville United Methodist Church:

• We will have the current dept paid - and be "Free to Grow"
• We will have fitness and sports ministry for adults and children.
  • Walking/Exercise trail; fitness center
  • Wellness programs for children and adults
  • and more
• We will have more programs focusing on youth and children.
  • A drop-off site for parents with kids or full-time "day care"
  • After school tutoring and activity programs for kids
  • and more
• We will have established, though partnership with Huntington U. and/or Taylor U. a faith-based leadership development program for credit.
  • Providing leadership training for youth and adults of ZUM
  • Provide leadership training for the community
• We will have one and one-half additional paid staff.
  • One half-time Worship/Music
  • One full-time for Children/Adult Ministries
