"I believe Jesus was a great moral teacher, but I can't accept His claim to be God."
Have you ever heard a statement like that...or perhaps said something similar yourself?
Listen as C.S. Lewis probes the greatest decision of life.

A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher.  He would either be a lunatic - on the level of a man who says he is a poached egg - or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice.  Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: Or else He is a madman...or something worse.  You can shut Him up for a fool; you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God.  But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher.  He has not left that open to us.

What do you call Jesus Christ - liar, lunatic, or Lord?
Read 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 and Romans 1:3-4.  Christ's resurrection - one of the most solidly established facts of history - leaves room for only one conclusion:  He is Lord.
If you have never come to the point of acknowledging Jesus as your Savior, of trusting Him and Him alone for your salvation, spend a few moments in these Scriptures:  John 8:24; Acts 4:10-12; Romans 3:22-26; 10:9-13; Ephesians 2:4-5,8; John 3:14-18,36.
Now ask yourself: "Is Jesus merely a great teacher?"   That's not a viable option.
"Is He a liar? A lunatic?"  The Resurrection proves otherwise.
"Is He my Savior and Lord?"  Talk to Him right now about that.  He is waiting to hear from you.

Liar, Lunatic, or Lord was featured in Crosswalk magazine published from Star 88.3.
